I'm Victoria Bradburn

I am fuelled by my passion of understanding the nuances of digital and analogue design. I consider myself a 'forever student', eager to both build on her creative foundations in Graphic Design and Printmaking and stay in tune with the latest design and typographic trends through continued interest and research.

My hunger for knowledge and determination to turn information into creative publications and prints has contributed to my most recent success in a University module named 'Message, Audience, Context', where I led a group of University students through research, idea and concept development stages before branching off into individual projects. Meanwhile, I vastly improved my confidence and communication skills throughout this as well as productivity as this group setting led itself to delegation and working effectively with people's strengths. 

 

I believe mindfulness in the workspace is key to success - a tenet I live out through my interests in nature and all that it brings you, relaxation through deep breathing and always looking for room to improve my creative aesthetic and typography skills. I am currently studying for a Master's in Graphic Design and Art Direction, where I am working on my final module, Synthesis. This is where self-direction and discipline comes in as you have complete creative freedom and are solely reliant on you for your own development as a designer. I am also skilled in both textural relief and screen printing, where the handmade aspect of the process really appeals to me and something I want to pursue as my career.
